The Norwegian Army support the Afghan National Police (ANP) in northern Afghanistan by providing basic medical training aimed at dealing with IED/gunshot victims at the scene.
This is a story about an ANP officer who was struck by an IED and had shrapnel removed from his brain with the help of Norwegian Army doctors.
